چکیده
THERMINATOR is a Monte Carlo event generator designed for study-ing of particle production in relativistic heavy-ion collisions performedat such experimental facilities as the SPS, RHIC, or LHC. The pro-gram implements thermal models of particle production with singlefreeze-out. It performs the following tasks: 1) generation of stable par-ticles and unstable resonances at the chosen freeze-out hypersurfacewith the local phase-space density of particles given by the statisticaldistribution factors, 2) subsequent space-time evolution and decaysof hadronic resonances in cascades, 3) calculation of the transverse-momentum spectra and numerous other observables related to thespace-time evolution. The geometry of the freeze-out hypersurface andthe collective velocity of expansion may be chosen from two success-ful models, the Cracow single-freeze-out model and the Blast-Wavemodel. All particles from the Particle Data Tables are used. Thecode is written in the object-oriented c++ language and complies tothe standards of the ROOT environment. We present a calculation of thermal photon production i.e. photons from secondary interactions among particles produced in heavy ion collisions at collider energies. This is done within the framework of hydrodynamics. We take into account the lack of chemical equilibrium in QGP. It turns out that main effects from chemical non-equilibrium composition of QGP, reduction of particle number and inc...
